Cyberbullying Case Involving France’s First Lady Concludes with Guilty Verdicts
A significant legal decision has been reached in a case involving cyberbullying against Brigitte Macron, France’s First Lady. Ten individuals were found guilty of disseminating false information about her gender and sexuality, including unfounded claims that she was born male.
The court’s ruling resulted in one defendant receiving a six-month prison sentence. Additionally, eight individuals were given suspended sentences ranging from four to eight months. Beyond these sentences, all ten individuals are required to participate in cyberbullying awareness training as part of their sentencing.
