House Committee Releases Videos of Clintons’ Testimony on Epstein

WASHINGTON (AP) — A series of videos featuring former U.S. President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton were made public on Monday. The footage, released by a House committee, captures the two answering questions about their connections to the late financier and convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein.

The deposition recordings, conducted over a span of two days last week, reveal the Clintons’ efforts to distance themselves from Epstein. Bill Clinton disclosed to the committee that he severed ties with Epstein prior to Epstein’s 2008 guilty plea for soliciting prostitution from a minor.

Bill Clinton recounted his initial acquaintance with Epstein in 2002 during a flight on Epstein’s private jet, which was part of the Clintons’ humanitarian efforts. Their relationship, according to Clinton, ended the following year.

“There’s nothing that I saw when I was around him that made me realize he was trafficking women,” Bill Clinton stated during the committee session.

Despite numerous documented visits by Epstein to the White House during Clinton’s presidency, and photographic evidence showing the two shaking hands, Bill Clinton claimed to have no memory of these encounters.

In her testimony, Hillary Clinton mentioned that she did not recall ever meeting Epstein.

The Clintons faced extensive questioning under oath from lawmakers, who are actively seeking accountability from individuals who might have been aware of or overlooked Epstein’s exploitation of underage girls.
