David Beckham Attends Wimbledon Amid World Cup Schedule
David Beckham, the renowned former footballer and current co-owner of Inter Miami, took a short hiatus from his World Cup engagements to grace the opening day of Wimbledon. He was spotted in the prestigious Royal Box on Centre Court alongside his mother, Sandra.
Beckham’s presence at Wimbledon was complemented by a host of other celebrities, including actor Mark Rylance and Boyzone’s Ronan Keating. The spectators gathered to witness defending champion Jannik Sinner start the day’s matches against Miomir Kecmanovic. In addition, women’s No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka and seven-time men’s champion Novak Djokovic were scheduled for their first-round matches later in the day.
Prior to his appearance at Wimbledon, Beckham had been actively attending World Cup games across the United States. Notably, he was present for England’s final group-stage match against Panama, held on Saturday. In his travels, Beckham also watched Scotland’s match against Brazil in Miami, and England’s draw with Ghana near Boston.
