Arrest of Cher’s Son at New Hampshire School
CONCORD, N.H. — Elijah Allman, son of famed singer Cher and the late Gregg Allman, was taken into custody last Friday after causing a disturbance at a private high school in New Hampshire, despite having no ties to the institution.
The 49-year-old Allman faces multiple charges, including two misdemeanors for simple assault, as well as criminal trespass and criminal threatening. Additionally, he has been charged with disorderly conduct, which, while illegal in New Hampshire, is not classified as a crime.
Authorities were called to St. Paul’s School around 7 p.m. after reports surfaced of Allman causing disruptions in the dining area. Following his arrest, he was released on bail, pending further legal proceedings.
Currently, no attorney information for Allman is available in court records. Efforts to reach a representative for Cher were unsuccessful, and St. Paul’s School has chosen not to provide any comments on the matter.
The investigation into the incident is still active.
